The MIO STRIDE is a strapless heart rate monitor and pedometer in one.  It can also be used with the MIO’s signature 3500 Calorie Club, a unique online weight loss program based on the fact that there are 3500 calories in one pound of weight. The goal of the program is to encourage people to burn 500 more calories than they eat each day, resulting in the loss of one pound of weight per week. MIO’s program uses each individual’s personal information (gender, age, weight and resting heart rate) in a complex formulation to provide an accurate personalized readout of calories burned.
